Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Launched in Nepal at Rs 2.13 Crore; Price and Features
United Traders Syndicate, the authorised distributor of Toyota vehicles in Nepal, has launched the Toyota RAV4 Hybridduring the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 at a price of Rs 2.13 Crore, bringing a 2.5-litre hybrid powertrain, all-wheel drive and updated technology to Toyota’s SUV lineup in Nepal.
The RAV4 Hybrid combines a 2.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor-generator system, with power sent to all four wheels through a CVT automatic transmission. The petrol engine produces 137 kW of maximum power and 221 Nm of peak torque.
The hybrid system uses a 1.09 kWh lithium-ion battery with an overall voltage of 248.2 V. Toyota claims fuel efficiency of around 15–20 km/l, while the SUV gets a 55-litre fuel tank.
The RAV4 Hybrid measures 4,600 mm in length, 1,855 mm in width and 1,685 mm in height, with a 2,690 mm wheelbase. It offers 201 mm of ground clearance and weighs 2,230 kg. The SUV rides on 18-inch alloy wheels with 235/60 R18 tyres and offers seating for five occupants.
The SUV uses MacPherson struts at the front and a trailing-wishbone setup at the rear. Braking duties are handled by ventilated disc brakes at the front and solid disc brakes at the rear, while the minimum turning radius is 6 metres.
The exterior gets LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights and LED fog lamps, along with a black panoramic roof with an electrically opening front section. The outside rear-view mirrors feature power adjustment, heating, folding and turn indicators, while also incorporating blind-spot indicators and side cameras.
Inside, the RAV4 Hybrid gets a 10.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with a six-speaker audio system. The dashboard also features a 12.3-inch full-TFT digital instrument display.
The cabin gets wireless charging, four USB charging ports and eight-way power-adjustable front seats. The rear seats feature a 60:40 split-folding configuration, while other features include leather upholstery, ventilated seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and push-button start.
The SUV also gets automatic climate control, four driving modes, full-speed-range adaptive cruise control and a power tailgate. Convenience features include power windows, power door locks, electric parking brake, brake hold and a panoramic view monitor.
Safety equipment includes ABS with brake assist and EBD, hill-start assist, vehicle stability control, emergency stop signal and tyre-pressure monitoring. The RAV4 Hybrid also gets seven airbags, including driver, front passenger, front-side, curtain and driver-knee airbags.
Parking and driver assistance features include a panoramic view monitor, reverse parking sensors and cruise control, while ISOFIX mounts with top tether points are provided for child seats.
With its hybrid powertrain, AWD system, 201mm ground clearance and technology-focused cabin, the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid adds an electrified option to Toyota’s SUV lineup in Nepal while retaining the practicality and versatility associated with the RAV4 name.
